UGREEN NAS UPS compatibility: the short answer

UGREEN’s US3000 is a DC battery backup rated at 120 W maximum output. UGREEN’s compatibility tool lists it for the DXP2800 and for the DXP4800 Plus, and the lists for the US, the UK and the EU agree on both. UGREEN’s US3000 product page states that the DXP6800 and DXP8800 series are not supported.

This page sets UGREEN’s per-model UPS lists, its UPS guide, the US3000 product page and article 136 of its knowledge center side by side, shows where they disagree, works out how much of the US3000’s 120 W each of the two NAS draws, and lists the other UPS models UGREEN names for them.

Checked against UGREEN’s compatibility lists for the US, the UK and the EU, UGREEN’s UPS guide, the US3000 product page (version 2026-10-28) and the DXP2800 and DXP4800 Plus product pages and manuals; records verified on .

If the US3000 is on UGREEN’s list for your NAS, this is where to find the UGREEN US3000.

Which UGREEN NAS models the US3000 supports

UGREEN keeps one UPS list per NAS model and per region. We read the lists for the US, UK and EU for every model in UGREEN’s tool, then set them next to the “US3000 compatibility” section of UGREEN’s guide, How to Choose and Set Up a UPS for UGREEN NAS (opens in a new tab). “Listed” means the model is on that source; “not named” means the guide doesn’t mention it, which is not the same as “not supported”.

Where UGREEN’s own sources disagree

The lists name ten models, the guide names six

UGREEN’s compatibility tool lists the US3000 for ten NAS models, and the lists for the US, the UK and the EU are the same for every one of them. The “US3000 compatibility” section of UGREEN’s guide names six: the DH2300, DH4300 Plus, DXP2800, DXP4800 Plus, DXP4800 Pro and DXP480T Plus. The DXP4800, DXP4800 GT, DXP2800 GT and DX4700 are on the lists but not in that section. Neither source says the other is out of date, so the table shows both rather than picking one.

“Series”, not models

The US3000 product page and article 136 both say the DXP6800 and DXP8800 series are not supported, but neither lists the models that belong to each series. UGREEN’s US store adds a third wording on the US3000 card of its product menu, “Only Support 2-4Bay Series“, without saying which models that series covers; the UK and EU stores don’t carry that line. For a specific model, the per-model lists in the first table are the more precise source.

The only UPS list in UGREEN’s knowledge center is in German

Article 136 of UGREEN’s knowledge center is titled as the UPS compatibility list for the DXP series. It has content only in German: its table shows the US3000 with a check mark under “Testergebnis” (test result) and names no NAS model. The text below that table is the source of the DH2600 and DX4600 conditions and of the second “not supported” row for the DXP6800 and DXP8800 series.

How much of the US3000’s 120 W each NAS uses

The US3000 spec table states 120 W maximum output, on one DC output rated 12 V at 10 A. Set against UGREEN’s own power figures for the two NAS, that gives the share of the US3000’s maximum each one draws with its drives in access:

From UGREEN’s specs DXP2800 DXP4800 Plus
Power draw, drives in access 16.38 W 42.36 W
Share of the US3000’s 120 W maximum 13.65% 35.3%
Power draw, drives in hibernation 5.24 W 18.12 W
NAS power adapter, per UGREEN’s manual DC 12V/5A DC 19V/7.9A
US3000 input at the same voltage 12 V at 10 A 19 V at 7.9 A

The shares are UGREEN’s access figures divided by the US3000’s maximum: 16.38 ÷ 120 = 13.65% for the DXP2800 and 42.36 ÷ 120 = 35.3% for the DXP4800 Plus. Which means that, on UGREEN’s own numbers, both NAS sit well inside the US3000’s rating, the DXP4800 Plus at about a third of it. UGREEN’s spec tables give these figures without the drive setup behind them, so read them as UGREEN’s reference figures, not as the draw of your NAS with your drives. Input and output voltages

The US3000 spec table lists three DC inputs: 12 V at 10 A, 19 V at 7.9 A and 20 V at 7 A. The DXP2800 adapter (12 V, 5 A) matches the 12 V input; the DXP4800 Plus adapter (19 V, 7.9 A) matches the 19 V input, current included. The same table lists only one output, at 12 V, and doesn’t say what voltage reaches a NAS that runs on 19 V. UGREEN still puts the DXP4800 Plus on its US3000 list in all three regions.

Battery: why 12000 mAh is not the number to use

The spec table rates the lithium-ion battery at 43.2 Wh, stated as 14.4 V and 3000 mAh. The 12000 mAh on the same table is 4 cells of 3000 mAh added up, not a capacity at 14.4 V. Which means that multiplying 12000 mAh by 14.4 V, which gives 172.8 Wh, overstates the battery four times: the rated energy is 43.2 Wh. UGREEN’s spec table gives no runtime at a stated load, and this page doesn’t estimate one.

Transfer time and USB

UGREEN lists the transfer time as 0 s; the spec table doesn’t state a UPS topology. It also lists a USB port for data communication (USB Data Communication). Source: the US3000 product page (opens in a new tab), version 2026-10-28.

Other UPS models UGREEN lists for these two NAS

UGREEN’s UPS list is per NAS model, and the two lists are not the same. For the DXP2800 it names a second UGREEN unit, the US2000; for the DXP4800 Plus it names three UPS from other brands. None of the three is on UGREEN’s DXP2800 list, and the US2000 is not on its DXP4800 Plus list. UGREEN’s note on every UPS list reads: “It is recommended to use the tested UPS in the compatibility list“.
